CORE STRENGTH TRAINING The core is where the body’s center of gravity is located and where all movement and strength begins. In fact, at least twenty-nine muscles make up the human core, and many simple bodyweight movements can be used to engage all of them. Core training increases your stability, strength, power, muscle endurance, and neuromuscular control.
RESISTANCE-BAND AND BODYWEIGHT TRAINING Strengthen and tone muscles without the constraints of free weights. Elastic resistance training does not rely on gravity to provide resistance. Instead, resistance bands use tension, mimicking the movement patterns of everyday activities. Resistance bands can add challenge and variety to any workout program.
Bodyweight training exercises require no equipment beyond the resistance provided by the weight of your body. Results are achieved partly because they often incorporate compound movements involving numerous joints and muscles in each move. Bodyweight training can be a great choice for achieving gains in functional strength, building muscle, boosting cardiovascular fitness, and burning fat. Plus, bodyweight training can be easily modified to challenge any fitness level.
It is important to note that all the aforementioned training techniques work hand-in-hand. I design my routines to be anything but routine! I keep them interesting, challenging, and fun. All exercise regimens are developed and updated as dictated by each client’s progress.
