About a year ago, John consulted me to undergo my training and nutrition program. Back then, his body fat percentage was a whooping 30%, weighing at 98kg. John wasn’t naturally fat at all. In fact, John was a thin guy with a naturally high and healthy metabolic. Yet, it beckons the question, how is it that someone with a high metabolic rate ended up looking like a gummy bear?
Been sick for the past few days and here are the few reasons that I don’t want to get sick anymore:
1. Health is Wealth. Due to high fever, I’ve missed a few opportunities of meeting new clients, attending enrichment classes, and a fitness event. One of the reasons that made me fall sick is dehydration and also not taking enough of vitamins.
2. Time is Precious. I've wasted 72 hours on the bed fighting for recovery. Many things can be done in these 72 hours!!! I can work more, train more, create videos and update my social media more.
3. Physical Health affects Mental Health. Have you been so sick that you find walking from your bed to your bathroom worse than sprinting 100m with max effort? I have! And this affects your mind and spirit. I felt super unfit, and I feel like I'm going on a downward spiral since I'm behind on my work and it slows down my fitness progress.
4. You only have ONE LIFE and time stops for NO ONE! Treasure it! Carpe Diem~!
