So I went for a run this morning but I only made it to 3 miles.
Since being sick I have slowly been getting back into the swing of things. I ran 3 miles on Monday, 4 on Tuesday and so I figured 5 would be a good amount for today and then I planned on taking a day off tomorrow. Unfortunately, I didn’t take into account the 2 factors that would ultimately prevent me from getting those 5 miles in today.
Factor number 1, my butt is sore. My girl Kristin turned me on to the Strong Curves plan and while I am forever grateful that my butt is moving closer to my actual address, it is not without some pain. If I would have known that lifting your butt was so hard, I probably wouldn’t have let it fall down in the first place!
Factor number 2, my legs are sore and that is due to the barre workouts. I’ve been doing a few of these a week and they are killer. I’ve tried quite a few different videos on youtube but is the baddest of them all. And by baddest, I mean the best.
Anyway, I like what these workouts are doing for my body but I’m still getting used to the soreness and trying to run through it. The good news is that anyone who runs behind me now will get a much better view, so there’s that, and you’re welcome.
What workouts do you do to keep your butt from traveling South?
