Yesterday was a fantastic, fantastic day! Neal and I volunteered at the at water station number 3 (mile 6).
Neal and I were up at 4:45AM and out the door at 5AM. By 5:45AM we were organizing the water station and filling hundreds of cups of water.
We had a pretty rockin’ system down. Neal lined up the cups and I poured the water.
It was so thrilling when the race began. This was our first time volunteering at a water station and it was a blast! I loved seeing all of the runners and being able to hand out water. We can not wait to do it again!
There were also two awesome highlights to my day…
1. Seeing Santa run.
2. Having a blog reader give me a shout out while running the race! It was SO awesome!! I’m not sure who it was but it meant the world to me to have someone recognize me and to say something nice about Coffee Cake and Cardio!
To anyone who ran the 10 miler, great job! Y’all looked great!

So I have completed week 1 of ! I did not do the kickstart program for week 1 but I did throw in some additional workouts here and there. I am proud to say that I did every workout! I did miss my Friday workout (workout 1) but I made it up on Saturday, doing both workout 1 and workout 2.
