After many, many hit or miss weeks in November-February (mostly miss), I finally had a good solid week of training. I’ve been saying all along that I wanted to become more serious about training in March, so this is a good prep week for that.
Sunday: 4.8 mile run @ 9:58 on country roads – my longest in awhile and also a good average pace considering we ran in really serious wind.
Monday: nothing
Tuesday: 2.62 @ 9:46 on a treadmill at the hotel (I was at a conference) – doesn’t sound like a fast pace but I worked my butt off the first 2 miles and then went about 11:00 pace the last .62. After my post about , I feel it’s only fair to disclose that I was mainly motivated by running faster than the guy on the treadmill next to me.
Wednesday – Jillian Michaels’ Ripped in 30, week one (earlier I posted that it was 30 Day Shred but it wasn’t)
Thursday – 3.42 mile run @ 10:40 pace – hoping this was my last single-digit run of the year (it was 1 degree)
Friday – Ripped in 30 week 1
