I have really enjoyed instructing Zumba for about three years now, and approach the classes with great enthusiasm and energy, ensuring that all the class participants feel encouraged and motivated to join in.
My main focus during a Zumba class is to keep the pace energetic, and the music enjoyable, so that when you leave you can feel how much you have ‘worked out’ – without realising it at the time ! I include a diverse mixture of music from the international stage to provide a wide range of rhythms and movements. I particularly like to use current ‘Pop’ hits to give a fresh flavour and an opportunity to use the routines at home too!
More than anything, I hope to promote a positive and healthy attitude towards ‘exercise’ by fuelling great energy and up-lifting environments for people to enjoy. I really hope that you will come along and enjoy a true Zumba experience without feeling embarrassed or intimidated, as so many of us have felt in the past before. So don’t be shy, your only regret will be that you didn’t try it sooner!
In addition to the classes listed on the ‘current’ page, corporate events can also be booked using any of the ways listed on the ‘contact’ page. Why not create a fun and exhilarating event for your colleagues, or team members, to promote a happy and healthy working environment for your company. Come along to one of the classes and experience how it all works.
My teaching experience is wide and varied and I have ample experience teaching both adults and children. In addition to my Zumba qualification I am also a fully qualified Zumba Kids Instructor, teaching children the latest Zumba moves and hosting children’s birthday parties. (See the Zumba Kids Parties tab for details) Additionally, I manage a Children’s Theatre Group in Nottingham and teach English as a Second Language.
